Video One: You Need To Know… Sexual Harassment is Illegal, 1st Edition (5 minutes)

The Supreme Court has indicated that having a sexual harassment policy is not enough; it must also be clearly communicated and understood! Music, visual images, graphics, and narration make this video program a dramatic, contemporary, clear, and concise method of ensuring all your employees understand that sexual harassment is not acceptable in your workplace. This program can be used as a new employee orientation tool, a meeting opener for any sexual harassment training program, or as a periodic reminder of your organization’s expectations.Employees will know that:

Video Two: Sexual Harassment: Awareness, Perception & Prevention – An Employee’s Responsibility (21 minutes)

An Employee’s Responsibility features 10 subtle sexual harassment vignettes and explores the question of welcomeness, appropriateness, and the critical do’s and don’ts in preventing sexual harassment in the workplace.

Employees will learn that eliminating sexual harassment from the workplace is a matter of:

• Awareness of what sexual harassment is – not only the legal definitions but also specific actions, behaviors, and words.
• Perception – what one person perceives as acceptable behavior may not be to another. Sexual harassment is about unwelcome behavior.
• Prevention.  Prevention means understanding that any kind of sexually suggestive behavior is unacceptable and will not be tolerated in the work place.
• Retaliation is prohibited.

Video Three: Sexual Harassment: Awareness, Perception & Prevention – A Manager’s Responsibility (22 minutes)

An HR Consultant, Attorney at Law and two managers discuss each situation and provide the critical actions and steps that should be taken to minimize an organization’s legal risk and to protect all employees from sexual harassment in the workplace. For your convenience, the vignettes are replayed again at the end of the program without the narrative.

Managers will learn that preventing and promptly correcting sexual harassment is a matter of:

• Awareness of what sexual harassment is –not only the legal definitions but also specific actions, behaviors, and words that can create Hostile Work Environment or Quid Pro Quo sexual harassment.
• Perception – what one person perceives as acceptable behavior may not be to another. Sexual harassment is about unwelcome behavior.
• Prevention.  Prevention means zero tolerance of any kind of sexually suggestive behavior in the work place by taking immediate and effective action whenever management sees, hears or is told of any kind of behavior that could be considered sexual harassment.
